Still Searching...
Who knew house hunting was THIS hard? Not me. We looked at a brand new home (never lived in!!) on Wednesday and loved it. It was slightly on the high end of our budget, but it qualified for a no money down loan, which made it affordable - but only if they'd give us some closing costs (half or so). Well, after we saw it the seller's said they decided to just rent the house instead, we didn't even get to put an offer in! Their realtor said he thinks they'd only accept full price offers. UGH. Can someone please send some good house karma our way? We have about 2 weeks left before we have to make the decision to rent (otherwise we'lll be married and both still living at our parents houses, yup.) Fingers and toes are crossed that we find something this week!!!

DIY Drink Flags!
Today I made 225 drink flags from skewers I bought at the grocery story, and ribbon from Michael's. It was pretty easy, I just had to snip the skewers to b/t 7 or 8 inches - and then tie the ribbon in a knot around then, so they flared out.
I snipped the ends here and there so they look more like flags. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, what do you think?

Cocktails
Cocktails sounds so much fancier than drinks, doesn't it? Come help us pick our signature drink for the wedding! Do you love this trend at weddings or hate it? I personally love it, it's just one more detail to plan - which I love! Check me out here on Engaged and Inspired talking cocktails, drink flags, and more!

Wood Paneling. (In a Shower).
I think we've hit an all time low, our realtor sent us a link to a house with wood paneling.in.the.SHOWER. I have so many questions for the current owners, why? how? what would posess someone to do that?? HORROR. Is it water sealed like a deck??
I couldn't even find a google image of something that even semi resembled how bad this bathroom was. Trust me, it did NOT look like that mahogany bathroom up there. I'm really hoping the housing market picks up, where is this buyers market we have heard so much about?! Come on, people! List your houses!

Putting On My Face..
Oh, and we still haven't found a house - we put an offer in on an adorable house in Lansdale yesterday, and found out today that we didn't get it. It was only on the market 3 days, and 2 other couples put offers in too. At least ours wasn't the lowest (flimsy silver lining).
